My favourite types of music are Punk, Emo, Screamo, Pop-Punk, and some metal and I'm getting into some prog bands too : )

This MP3 player will never be regarded as cool as an iPod but in my opinion it looks much cooler and sleeker. It also has the same memory as the 20GB iPod, and is much cheaper, mine was bought for around £140 which is the same price as an Apple Mini iPod of about 4GB. Also as this MP3 player isn't as desirable as an iPod you can feel a little safer when taking it out of your pocket while on the bus. The inline remote is also a great feature as you dont have to take the actual player out of your pocket most of the time and if you want an in line remote for an iPod you have to pay that little bit extra.
All in all the Philips HDD120 is in my opinion much cooler than an iPod, but in todays MP3 market ruled by the iPod it will never be widely regarded as.
How helpful would this review be to a person making a buying decision? Rating guidelines
The only other thing I'd want to know is how the battery life compares to an ipod, it's all very well having a tonne of stuff on it, but what happens when the batteries run out 30minutes into a 6 hour coach journey..?
