...I bought this machine before christmas and i can honestly say it is the best £30 i have spent, I purchased it from tesco. You can buy the refills from tesco, i haven't seen them elsewhere but im sure most supermarkets sell them and though not as cheap as instant, it is still worth it. I know tesco's do their own brand for it but they don't do a great selection for it. Their is a lot of different coffees made by senseo for it and they keep on bringing out new flavours, at th moment you can get a good cappocunio for it as well. The machine is quick to use and has a large water container at the rear which is easy to get at and fill up. It is easily cleaned and only needs the coffee pod removed to clean it. The only fault i find with it is getting the correct size mug to fit,as most of the mugs i have are too tall, but this is slight... Read review

Advantages: Easy, Quick, No spilled coffee, Personalized, Cheap
Disadvantages: Not easy for parties, pads are quite expensive

...Great for the wake-up call in the morning, although it doesn't quite do it for a party or when a lot of people actually want to have coffee. Other than that, this product is very good, with a nice quality of coffee to be bought with it. This is a great product, although I would like to advise to buy an older model due to the fact that this product isn't spectalular. The whole concept remains the same : easy and quick personal coffee (instead of a whole junk) 40 pounds is quite cheap (about €60 for us europeans) and this coffe machine is definately worth it's money ! ...The Phillips Senseo is compact, fast and easy to use. One of the main benefits over some similar products, is that you can make 2 cups of coffee at the same time, rather than having to carry out a cup at a time to waiting dinner guests. Cleaning the machine is childs play and it sits neatly on the worksurface, never accumulating dust as its so regulary used. I honestly didn't think Id use it as often as I do, nor that visitors would actually ask for a cup from the machine every time they visit! You'd be hard pushed to buy a better machine for less money that ticks all the boxes. The pods are a little pricey, but some of the major supermarkets offer their own branded alternatives....
