I have been after one of these Air Fryers since they came out, but always thought they were too pricey and would it be the price? It was coming down in price, and after a few eBay sales, I purchased one.

=The Air Fryer=
Whether or not your health conscious, the idea of this is that you can cook a variety of food with just using a fraction of oil, yet still have that deep fried taste, that we've all come to love. The product claims to save you 80% of the fat used in your frying process.

=The Instructions=
The instruction booklet is very comprehensive, but I will just pull out some nuggets of information, to give an idea about the fryer. If you are cooking items such as chicken nuggets and frozen chips, you do not need to add any additional oil to the fryer. If you are using fresh chips, then they recommend adding half a tablespoon for half a kilo of potato's, (500g, and just over 1 lb of potatoes).

=The Machine=
. What I was very impressed with was that the fryer came with a metal divider, so that you can cook two different products as once, great for when my daughter wants chicken nuggets and chips.

=To use=
Firstly you set the temperature on the fryer, according to what you are cooking; you then put the food into cook, and set the timer. About halfway through the cooking process it is recommended that you take the food out and shake, then return into the fryer. For cooking my chicken nuggets and chips this took just under 15 minutes.

=The Result=
These got a big yes from my daughter, and I must say that I was very impressed with the chips as they really did taste as though they had been deep fried on a traditional fryer.

=Recipe Book=
The fryer also comes with a recipe book, and you would be very surprised with what can be cooked, as well as the traditional products, such as chicken nuggets, it even recommends a recipe for Chocolate Brownies.

Phillips even looks after our health, as they give all the nutritional information of the dishes.

This is widely available at all locations, including, Argos, Amazon, Currys and Comet, to name but a few. The price was around £150, but there have been promotions on.

Good review but I was expecting a bit more detail from you leading from your other household appliance reviews. What are the dimensions? What is the oil tank capacity? Any washable filters or lifetime on this model? Any dishwasher safe items? Any additional cooking accessories other than the cook book? Quality of the item? Does it take up a lot of space? Is it noisy in use? Any timer on it? Lastly what's the normal cost price? Is it any more expensive than a standard fryer offering the same oil capacity?
