Philips HP 6375 Bikini Perfect

The phillips Bikini Perfect is a four piece rechargable bikini trimmer. It comes boxed with the trimmer, epilator head, trimmer head with comb attatchment and the shaver head (like a lady shave but tiny!), there is also a little cleaning brush included, mains charger and instruction manual. I've had this trimmer for around six months now and use it a few times a month but not for excessive amounts of time, maybe five to ten minutes each use and I have to say that I am dissapointed with the battery life. The Bikini Perfect needs a ten hour charge before its first use and the charger plugs into the bottom of the trimmer. There is an indicator light on the charger but not on the trimmer so I find myself double and triple checking that the charger is plugged in properly, but maybe thats just me being over-cautious! I've had this trimmer for around six months now and use it a few times a month but not for excessive amounts of time, maybe five to ten minutes each use and I have to say that I am dissapointed with the battery life. It takes two hours for it to charge fully and when it is fully charged is quite powerful for the first three to five minutes but after that you can hear the power declining from the battery. I find that if I don't charge it everytime it will be very weak on the second use after the two hour charge. In comparison to the Phillips Ice epilator that I have had for nearly two years the battery power is very poor.

The trimming results are a big improvement on the battery life! The epilator unfortunately I cannot comment on as I have not been brave enough to use it, due to having the luxury of the ice pack on my other epilator! The trimmer attatchment with the comb gives a very even trim and the ladyshave head is great for trimming shorter hair and gives a surprisingly close and very smooth finish. The trimmer without the comb attatched I would recommend for tidying up edges etc but this part used on its own is not so gentle and I wouldn't recommend for sensitive skin. As the trimmer has a small head it is ideal awkward areas, I would imagine that the shaver and trimmer heads would be ideal for underarm use too.

On the whole the results I have with the Bikini Perfect are good and that is the main thing, that it does what it is supposed to do. The battery power as I have said is poor and this is the main let down with this product, for that reason I don't think that it is worth the money. It is hygenic as all the attatchments are removable and washable. The on/off switch is large on the front of the product making it easy to find and operate but the trimmer only has one speed setting, again for the price I think this is quite poor.

I would recommend this product as the results and ease of use are advantages although I would also recommend shopping around to see if it can be found cheaper.
