The epilator and shaving head's are washable.
I would recommend ... ...never done this before and if you are not particularly brave then pop the sensitive area cap on as this decreases the width of the epilator head. The cooling glove is also ideal for dulling the pain, all you need to do is pop the ice pack in the freezer for a couple of hours before you use it.
The product comes with a good manual and you really should read it before you use the product as it does explain the process extremely easily. more

As with all things, you need to find what's best for you, start on your legs rather than going straight to the underarms, etc. as you need to perfect your technique before going to the sensitive areas.
If you work on the laws of average, this product will pay for itself by 3 leg waxes.
It's a very good product and I'd recommend it to anyone providing they like having their hair pulled out!
