I bought this product with some trepidation after reading other reviews of epilators and having a relatively low threshold for pain! I saw it on offer half price so thought I'd just give it a go.
I used it on my legs first of, which I had previously been waxing and found it quick and almost painless. I must admit I thought the other reviews were exaggerating the pain a little. However, I then tried it on my underarms which I had been shaving for years and it was agony!
I could hardly finish epilating, but glad I made myself as after a few more goes, the hair got noticeably thinner and it is now relatively painless. The skin is left completely smooth, and the best thing is that you can epilate on much shorter hairs than waxing so there is no need to wait for hairs to grow long!
The ice cooler does help to soothe skin, but I found it awkward to use, so don't really bother with it anymore.
I would definitely recommend this product. As long as you can get through the first few times, epilating becomes much less painful. It lasts much longer than shaving and is less messy than waxing, so really does feel like the perfect solution!
