My hubby was grunting and groaning saying that she would not use it. Why I asked? He seemed to think that his mum was hair free and in the end he did my head in over this ... ...nail kit which she loved. I must say I was not impressed with him and said if you can do better, you go and do the shopping next year.
So the LadyShave ended up in my gift cupboard and would be reallocated. I was a bit annoyed as it had cost me near hand Ģ30 and it was a nice looking product.

So the LadyShave ended up in my gift cupboard and would be reallocated. I was a bit annoyed as it had cost me near hand Ģ30 and it was a nice looking product.
It came in a Deep Purple and Pink box depicting a lady shaving her legs. It has what model it is and in this case it was the HP. It was battery operated which is a good thing for my mother in law as she is not well up to date on these battery charges.
Well after Christmas it was still there as I would save it for someone else who would appreciate it. During January I had a girls night in and out come the Ladyshave. Well I bought it, so blow it. I opened the box and inside was two little batteries to affix into the Ladyshave and this plum and glittery purple shaver. Husband was moaning what a load of rubbish shavers were and that they are a waste of money.
It is split into three sections and the bottom and the top bit are the glittery purple parts and are made out of hard plastic, while the middle plum part is rubber and has two press buttons, soft to touch, one for on and one for off.
It is a streamlined shaver and angled so that you can get into those awkward bits. It has a plastic removable safety lid which snaps on and off when the shaver is not in use.
Let me try and explain the blade. It is a piece of metal with two round comb like teeth on either side of the metal. They are not sharp and you would not cut yourself if you touch it.
On the side of the shaver is 3 settings and it has a picture of a lady, the first setting is for upper body, the second is for bikini lines and the third is for your legs.
You pull the bottom part of the shaver and insert the batteries and it is quite stiff to pull apart.
So here I was already to use it. i had never used one of these before but always wanted one. I place it gently against my skin and shave against the direction of the hair. The hair disappears quite quickly and i am really impressed, no stubble, no roughness, just soft.
The next one that I try is under my arms and set it to the required level and again it performs a great task. The next is the bikini line and is not something that I would do so I thought anything once. I tried it and again it did not hurt, as all the settings use the different blades and foils so that you are not hurt even in the gentlest of all places.
I must admit I started to get really carried away with shaving every piece of hair that was around, the dogs scarpered along with the cats in fear that they would be sheared. All that was left was the husband who stated it was so rubbish. Can I use you as a guinea pig, go on then he said, it wont work, it did and now he is bald!
To clean the product you get a little white brush and you can remove and replace the heads and every six months they tell you to oil the heads with sewing machine oil.
There is a little pamphlet that explains everything that you would need to know. But to be honest it is really straight forward.
It comes with a little beige silk bag with a silk ribbon for you to keep it in. Rather like a small pump bag that we all had at school.
Yes I am really impressed with this and so is my hubby stating how things have changed since he had one nearly 25 years ago. He now wants a mans shaver. Oh and by the way, my mother in law came up the other day and saw this and said do you know what, I have always wanted one of them. I turned to my husband and if looks could kill !
Advantages: Light weight, good grip, PINK!!! Disadvantages: On legs nota close shave
This shaver is an excellent buy.
It has 3 controls, under arm, bikini and legs.
It has cool strips (aloe vera) which are soft on the skin when shaving.
Its not as close a shave as others I have used BUT I just press abit harder and it really does give a close shave.
Never found anything better for under arm shaving, and more importantly for the bikini line. No rashes after shaving GREAT. Well worth every penny just for that.
Its lightweight ...

Advantages: good grip and its pink! Disadvantages: not as close shave as a regular
The first thing that attracted me to this shaver was the fact that its pink - perfect for the proper girly girls and i thought at Ģ21 it was a good price. Unlike my old shaver this one uses disposable batteries so i can just change them when they are flat as opposed to my old one which when it was too flat and didn't work anymore I had to buy a completely new shaver so that is an advantage. It has 3 different foils and is soft, so I would recommend ...
