I have been using an epilator for about 5 years now but have have this Phillips for about one year. The Satinelle soft doesn't do a bad job but I must admit my old one was better. This epilator is an excellent low cost solution to hair removal. The first few times can be a little 'nerve wracking' but the regrowth hairs get weaker and finer and most cease growing back after a while. It can be used anywhere ( except the face ) with care - if you intend using it on an area of loose skin do make sure that you stretch the area taught before using the epilator or skin folds can get caught up in the head. After having used this device for a long time I have found it best to use before a warm bath which seems to shorten the lifetime of any temporary spots and is probably a good idea anyway from a hygeine point of view.
