However, a year ago I treated myself to a new electric shaver - the Philishave Cool Skin - a rechargeable electric shaver which offered something I'd never seen ... ...so you have to be quite careful when buying. This particular model is more expensive than some of the others, but that is because it can be fully charged in 1 hour, whereas the cheaper models take 8 hours to charge. The recharging unit is built into the shaver - it isn't in the form of removable rechargeable batteries.
