Its cordless with a charger base that plugs into your shaver socket in the bathroom. It has a handy LCD display to show how much battery is left and when to charge.
Its also easy to clean, after each shave wash it under the hot tap for about 30secs, and its clean, they recommend once a week to clean the heads off with the supplied brush.
The thing Iike best about this shaver, and thats only after a few shaves is the Moisturising Shaving System, the shaver comes with two differnt types of sachets. Both are NIvea for Men, the one sort is a moistorising sort, and the other is a shaving gel. SO far I have only used the moistorising sachets, and it feels so much better. Each sachet the manual states will last for about 10 shaves.
The end result is that my shave is much much closer, I feel very smooth all day, and my skin is not irratable. I tried shaving the once without using any moistoriser, and it did not feel very nice.
The shaver comes with a carry case, and a strap so you dont drop the thing if you decide to use it in the shower. It also has a travel lock function which locks the whole machine down if you are going away. Another good idea is that it has a warning light to tell you if and when the heads need replacing (manual reccomends every two years).
The downsides that I have found are, the trimmer is a seperate utencil that nneds to be fitted everytimg its required, which is not a major problem but just one of those things. The other and more important problem I found is where to buy HQ170 the moistorising sachets. I have checked in mutiple Boots, Tesco and other chemists and supermarkets, and can't find any. Tried online and again the only place I can find them is EBAY. Which whilst they are available they are just not easy to obtain.
My overall opinion is that if my first few shaves are anything like what my shaving expereince will be like with the HQ7782 then this is a good shaver. But if stocks of the sachets are not available dont' even bother buy the COOL SKIN philishave range.

If you put HQ 170 or 171 in a search engine it comes up with thousands of places to buy the sachets. Amazon is a good place to purchase them. Good review

Good review, woudn't normally concider electric razor but this sounds good!
Advantages: Quick charging (less than an hour to fully charged), close shave (almost as close as a wet shave) and Waterproof (I actually found it helpfull and more comfortable to shave in the shower) Disadvantages: It's not the cheapest electric shaver out there and the sachets of gel/mosturiser can be expensive in the long term.
