HQ6707? Not the Philips with the Highest IQ!
Review of Philips HQ 6707 COOL SKIN by  TheChocolateLady

Advantages: Rechargable, Wet/dry shaver, cream dispenser, good shave
Disadvantages: Doesn't have battery indicator lights, long charging time

...My husband has very sensitive skin, and has never been able to use any blade razors because of this. In addition, he has a fairly tough beard, which only exacerbates the problem. He's always liked Phillips shavers, and over the years we must have bought him about eight different models. We were thrilled when they started producing rechargeable models, and when they came out with ones that dispensed cream with the shave, we thought we had reached shaver nirvana. For some time my husband enjoyed his Philips HQ5620, but when it started to die, I decided I should get him a new Philips for his birthday. The requirements we had were that the new shaver would dispense moisturizing cream with his shave, be rechargeable and be waterproof so he could clean it under the tap (or use in the shower, if he so wished). After looking at several... Read review

Philips Geometricks - A Different Style Everyday
Review of Philips HP 4696 Geometricks Styling System by  Multtinems

Advantages: Lots of Different styles from One Tool
Disadvantages: None

...My hair is straight and boring. I tried perms, potions and lotions with disasterous results. I had a set of curling tongs which in the 80's were great..... Remember those Farrah Fawcett flicks girls? I needed a product that was more up to date, more versatile. I half heartedly looked out whenever I was in any electrical department to see if I could find such a thing. It took a long time. Some 4 years ago now I found such a product. It was the Philips Geometricks 6 in 1 Styler. It was advertised in Argos for £24.99. When I saw the category for it on Ciao I was suprised. But a quick check in the Argos catalogue confirmed not only do they sell the Philips version but several more besides, typically now they're retailing at £19.75. Now they are sold with a storage pouch and hair clips. ☼ Outside Packaging: When I purchased... Read review

Philips Senseo left us dry.
Review of Philips HD7810/60 by  jeddart

Advantages: None as the thing was broken
Disadvantages: Coffe machine broken out of box.

...I bought the Philips Senseo from Amazon as a Xmas present for my partner as she likes a coffee(probably too much). I picked the Senseo because I thought it was a good looking machine and the coffee pods were available from my local supermarket. It was delivered in good time by Amazon. When it was opened and tried on Xmas day, we could not get it to work. No matter what we tried the machine just refused to come on, never mind make a cup of coffee. Of course when we tried to contact Philips the phone lines were busy, it took 4 days to finally get a human on the other end of the line. All they said was take it or send it back to the company that I bought it from. I could work that out for myself! So it is sent back to Amazon for a full refund and good riddance to it and Philips customer services. I wish I could give you some more... Read review
