Philips HR 2160 VIVA

Until a couple of years ago I never spent much time in the kitchen. During my university days my idea of a meal was beans on toast or fish fingers and chips and during my post-uni travelling days it was a meal in a can or a take away pizza. I wanted a good blender for making smoothies but as with everything nowadays there were so many styles and brands to choose from. Also, the reviews I looked at seemed to differ widely for every model available, and several people would give a model 5 stars while several others would give the same model only 1 star and cite various problems with it.
