Advantages: High quality, good performance Disadvantages: None!
I bought this smoothiemaker a couple of weeks ago, and am very happy with it. It's a nice design with a brushed aluminum base and simple dial. I use it to make fruit, yogurt and ice smoothies, however, you can use it to make margaritas, ice-blended coffees, milk shakes and even soya milk!! (I will explain later). The jug is made of glass, not plastic and can hold up to 1.25 litres. You can put the glass jar, the lid and measuring cup (which fits on the top of the lid) in the dishwasher (however, not the removable blade). There is a separate filter that you can put in where the measuring cup is kept (not in photo, but it would be in the centre of the jug). This allows you to put fruits that contain seeds or skin that you don't want 'blended' in your smoothie. By using the filter you can also make soya milk! You have to soak the soya ...

This smoothiemaker comes from the new collection of kitchen appliances from Disney.
It has a clear jug, so you can see the contents, the bottom is red and is like Mickey's shorts, it has a red lid and white feet.
It is a fun looking smoothiemaker.
It works just the same as any other smoothiemaker and is a good product as it is from the Kenwood range.
The difference with this one is, not only does it look cute, but it has a stir stick in the lid, it is easier to get to those bits that always seem to get stuck in the bottom.
So start blending, stop and stir then carry on, then when finished stir again.
This one a good feature to include.

Advantages: Easy to use, quick, sturdy and stylish. Disadvantages: None that I can think of
The PhilipsHR 1372 is possibly one of the best hand - held blenders around at the moment and I am delighted to be the first to review it.
You can purchase this from Amazon for £59.29, but I managed to find a very good deal on it approximately 10 months ago for which I paid just £35.00. Having a look around is a must!
I had never previously owned any type of hand blender before so I must admit, when it arrived, I was somewhat confused as to why the box was so large. I was so excited (like a child at Christmas) that after staring at it for a few moments in awe, I couldn't resist diving in to check it all out!
I have to say, it wasn't all packaging, this is really quite a good size to say the least! I'd seen my sister preparing some-thing or other with a hand blender on one occasion and I certainly can't remember it being as big as ...
