I bought this item from comet but i have seen it on amazon slightly cheaper. just over a 2 months ago, after seeing it on television advertised i thought for the price it was worth a try, since i have had it i have used it everyday i have only used the combined moisturizing a few times but the it always give me a clear crisp shave, also the battery life is very very good my only negative coment would be that its build quality around the roatary head could be better but for the price i am and will continue to be very happy!

First things first, this is simply the best electric razor I have ever used. But how does this compare to other models on the market and would it convert the "wet" shaver. I myself have owned electric razors previously, mainly for the convenience factor but often felt let down by the quality of the shave and the discomfort of almost tearing at the skin. The PhilipsMoisture Razor is extremely comfortable as it dispenses moisturising gel as you shave. This elinminates the need for shaving gel/cream and means it can be used in the shower - a great time saver. Minor negative points are I felt itquite difficult to get a close shave around the neck area. Also there have been issues in being able to but replacement gel for the system which makes it redundant. and colours. The feel of it is very comfortable on the hand and is easy to grip, due to slight ridges around the back of the shaver. This also makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, which i would say is one of the most important factors in something that is to be used daily. Also, obviously, it must be good at its job. Which this shaver is. It did a very good job, and was the closest shave i have ever had. I was previously using a gillette mach 3 razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance.
I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features. Moving around the jaw bone and cheek bones, means that it gets alot closer to the skin ...
