I bought this when it was £120 and I still think it's worth that now even though I can see the price has dropped now. This is a quality sound and theater system from Philips an offers excellent value for money.

I was attracted to this model as it offered DivX playback as well as DTS surround sound (not two things you're likely to see on the same disc but both come with their own merits). The DTS sound is amazing, I spent several minutes just switching 5.1 sound and DTS just to hear the difference.

It also plays Dolby Pro Logic II from freeview broadcasts and includes a very clean sounding radio receiver. The speaker cables are nice and long and well insulated so they don't get damaged if stepped on.

The only complaint I have is that they didn't include 5.1 channel inputs as well as outputs, I would have preferred a system with SPDIF input so I could attach my laptop for surround sound but it only has stereo inputs.

The design is sleek and the display is bright and clear even through a glass cabinet.

Advantages: Smooth Sound
Disadvantages: None

This is a great buy, as i hve not found a fault with it. The cables are long enough for any room ( they can be easily hidden as they are quite thin ). The speakers themselves are small ( but thats not a downfall as it still produces a smooth quality sound ) this is an advantage. Would recomend this too anyone.
