Advantages: Built In Conditioner, quiet, stylish, effective Disadvantages: Bit of a hassle to clean
and colours. The feel of it is very comfortable on the hand and is easy to grip, due to slight ridges around the back of the shaver. This also makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, which i would say is one of the most important factors in something that is to be used daily. Also, obviously, it must be good at its job. Which this shaver is. It did a very good job, and was the closest shave i have ever had. I was previously using a gillette mach 3 razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance.
I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features. Moving around the jaw bone and cheek bones, means that it gets alot closer to the skin ...
Advantages: Slimmer and lighter than many LCD TVs of similar size. Disadvantages: None come to mind.
This is an excellent example of Philips ingenuity. If you are about to consider changing to a larger screen size, then this 42' screen is well worth a closer look. It has a superb contrast ratio, which really improves the definition of the darkest and lightest images and displays striking colours that are lifelike and vibrant. The ease of installation is also a great benefit, whereby most settings can be achieved through a simple automatic process. Should you also be thinking of wall mounting this receiver, then you will be pleased to know that this particular model is thinner than many TV's currently available and also a lot lighter. The remote control has been well thought out with a special home button, which enables easy selection of external devices, like satellite boxes, digital receivers, DVD players and recorders or PC ...
Advantages: easy to clean, smooth shaving, docking bay Disadvantages: doesnt hold most charge, compared to others, but good enough
Note: This is my boyfriends shaver - I wrote the review while he dictated. I don't need to use a shaver (...at least I think I don't...)
I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday as an upgrade to a previous Philips shaver. It was on offer in Boots at the time and I paid about £140 as well as generating some Boots loyalty points.

The Unit
~~~~~~~
At the time it was the 2nd from the top of the range - the top of the range was the nivea moisturise one. It also has an edge trimmer and the boyfriend does not bother with moisturiser (!) so this model is sufficient.
The shaver is about 6 inches tall and about 2 inches wide so it fits in the palm of your hand.
The control is an on/off button located in the handle at the front in the centre.
