This system is very well designed, the DVD player is slim and attractive, and the subwoofer is a nice size and complements any silver television, the speakers are small and well designed (which look very modern when put on to surround sound speaker stands). I am a fan of Philips technology and found that even the remote control was based on the same design as my television remote. I was worried at first about this system’s power of output, but I had nothing to worry about, the sound quality is excellent and the optional controls that the DVD player gives can help optimise the sound so that is best suited for you. One let down that I find is the loading time of the DVD player can be a little slower than other ones I have owned. If you are looking for a system that is less expensive than others available, I would have no problems recommending this one, as I know you would be pleased with every aspect of the Philips LX3000D.
You need much more details than that, info, specs, some statistical info and a lot mor, so try to edit your review and add that stuff.

I see no one has helped with any comments. Your majorly lacking with statistics and paragraphs! If you can sort these out then all your reviews will just be fab. Cant wait to give you an E one day. Right - with reviews just think of what a customer would ask? So why so many speakers? Explain what surround sound is - as you havent done this? Explain how it works through the DVD as apposed to an amp and why you think this is better (personally i know its not -me and my bloke are home cinema fanatics) what connections are there and what else can you plug into the player? What options does it have? Record? does it play recorded CDs/DVDs? What is the output and speaker output? What are the speaker sizes? Whats noise interference like - maybe too loud is too fuzzy? Lots to add - hint - use the manual to help write key points. Again, let me know when i can re-read/rate. Bev
