Advantages: Cheap, reliable, long lasting, reasonable price. Disadvantages: Still gets warm. Plastic plug = breakable?
believe that most of my batteries have charged in about 60 minutes, on a full charge from an empty battery. As well as getting the charger, which plugs straight into the wall it includes 4x 2500mAh Ni-Mh AA's (which are in sliver, and look quite attractive, you won't get these thrown out as they definately stand out from panasonic and duracell) You can charge AAAbatteries however the sale only comes with 4 AA batteries.
It has a sensor control, a red and green light, to tell you when it is still charging and when the charge is fully complete. Another helpful feature is that it includes a car adapter for no extra cost. This charger the Sprint 90 accepts Ni-Mh and Ni-Cd batteries, in both AA and AAA Formats, charging them in sets of 2 or 4 at a time. Also charging 2 batteries will reduce the charging time.
Overall the charger is quite ...
Advantages: Charging time of 5 hours, Includes 4 AA batteries, Compact design Disadvantages: None
The Uniross x-press 300 is a good charger which supports a range of different battery sizes. I bought this charger last year because I bought a wireless mouse and keyboard so made more sense getting rechargeable batteries rather than spending money on normal batteries every few weeks. This x-press 300 charges AAA, AA & 9V size batteries. It lets you charge 2 or 4 AA/AAA and one 9V batteries of the same type at the same time. It's suitable for AA, AAA and 9V (PP3) NiCd and NiH batteries. To use AAAbatteries you simply flip down a little holder within the charger and it will hold the AAAbatteries to charge.
The plug in design makes it easy to use and the built in mains transformer means there are no leads or adaptors. You simply plug it in ...
Advantages: Charges quickly, easy to use. Disadvantages: Doesn't feel too strong... Not much of a problem.
I bought this so that I wouldnt' have to keep paying for batteries all the time for my camera. Most battery chargers cost a lot more than this one did (I bought this one for about £12, from Amazon), so it was good to get a deal on it.
The package includes the charger itself, 4 AA batteries and a car adapter, so you can charge your batteries in the car.
The batteries are easy to insert, there are two spring-loaded extensions that spring out. These are so you can charge AAAbatteries as well, and they fold away when you're charging AA batteries.
I find that charging batteries doesn't take very much time at all, I just leave them in for a short while and after a short while the red light turns green to show that the charge is complete.
The build of the charger doesn't seem very strong, it feels rather plasticky. However, I haven't had ...
