and colours. The feel of it is very comfortable on the hand and is easy to grip, due to slight ridges around the back of the shaver. This also makes it very comfortable and easy to hold, which i would say is one of the most important factors in something that is to be used daily. Also, obviously, it must be good at its job. Which this shaver is. It did a very good job, and was the closest shave i have ever had. I was previously using a gillette mach 3 razor and shaving foam. The Philips shaver eliminates the need for shaving foam, which i always found an annoyance.
I think that the reason for the closeness is the fact that each of the heads vibrates/girates and moves independantly, meaning that they can move accordingly to each person's individual features. Moving around the jaw bone and cheek bones, means that it gets alot closer to the skin ...

I bought this trimmer around a month ago after the battery in my old trimmer (also Philips) gave up. As I'd been happy with Philips previously I looked around and found that the choice was basically QT4020 or QT4045. At first I was somewhat skeptical about the idea of having a vacuum trimmer, but based on positive reviews I thought I'd give it a try. The idea also appealed to my other half who for some reason isn't a fan of finding the toilet seat covered in beard trimmings so I ordered from Amazon for £27.14.
First impression is that unit is noticeably larger than my previous model, perhaps due to the added vacuum unit, but it's still perfectly manueverable. This is an excellent example of Philips ingenuity. If you are about to consider changing to a larger screen size, then this 42' screen is well worth a closer look. It has a superb contrast ratio, which really improves the definition of the darkest and lightest images and displays striking colours that are lifelike and vibrant.
