This is a good CRT monitor and can be found at a very reasonable price at auction.

17" works best at a 1024x768 resolution with a 75hZ or more refresh rate. This monitor has a very clear, crisp picture, and a range of settings to set it up to your liking.

Works very well for a gaming setup, I see no problems when laying fast-paced games such as UT2004, and DVD playing is also great.

The only two problems I have with this monitor are the large depth (approx. 42cm) and turning it on. When you do so, the monitor degausses and makes a loud noise, not good for turning on quietly when needs be.

If the two above problems do not matter, I can thoroughly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to an inferior TFT monitor.

Would you like to tell me how I choose which one to review then? As when I reviewed the digital camera, there were 3 results of EXACTLY the same item, but they were listed separately with separate reviews. I think Ciao need to sort this out if they don't want things like this to happen.
