I brought this MP3 Player to use while exercising. I found i got a great deal from argos on the price as i got double memory (512mb) for the price of 256mb for around £105.
The Look: It's look is very up to date and fashionable, black on the front with a silver rim and silver on the back. The screen is a bit small located on the front (when atached toyour arm facing outwards)
The Technology: Its technology is not the best on the market but does the job it is intended to do. the screen displays the name of the song, the time it is running for. You can create playlists. It can attach to your waist or your arm (i found that my arm was more comfortable). The memory is 512 however i have only uploaded around 30 songs, this was very very easy, i just connected the lead to my computer and copied the songs into the MP3 folder.
The Sound: The sound could be alot better. The earphones that come with it do not stay easy in your ears. The sound quality is good but not very load, often when in the gym i could still hear alot of noise goign on around me.
The Screen: The screen has some cool functions - a flashing light for when out running in the dark, back lite screen for easy use in the dark.
Again could have more functions. - Please note that this review asks how the video quality is on it, however it does not have this technology!
Advantages: sleek, eyecatchy, sound quality is good,headphones comfortable, sability of the s/w in the player is nice and with minimal no. of clicks. Disadvantages: software,cant drag and drop,Not so user friendly
I wanted a flash drive music player when i workout in gym or jogging or playing, i was looking a Sony n/w player but landed up in this Philips-Nike PSA220 in a descent deal.
I have been using this since May 2005,
The first thing i get furious about this product is its software (they call it DMM).
Dis Adv of this s/w
1) You cant drag and drop
2) This is a Java s/w and its interface is so dumb
3) Not so user friendly
4) If you think, you would ... ...better dont go for this (You need lots of patience to work with this s/w)
But other than the s/w side, the player is sleek, with a different spherical design (ofcourse its eyecatchy), sound quality is good,
esp i should comment on the headphones (man they've designed it so comfortable and so different , i luv 'em)
the usability of the s/w in the player to play songs and make settings is really nice and with minimal no. of clicks.

this is a nice little mp3 player which has excellent sound quality.
256mb hold around 70 songs for me but you can also use it to hold documents so you can transfer them from computer to computer
