Advantages Comfortable, Affordable
Disadvantages Can Be Difficult To Put On
Picture the scene, You arrive home from buying you new portable mp3/cd/cassette player only to find out that through the headphones provided it sounds like 10 angry wasps trapped in a beer can. Well this nightmare scenario need no longer be the case, if you invest a little extra in these babies.
These headphones are made by Philips in conjunction with Nike aimed at the sports market. They come equipped with behind the ear hooks which hold the earpiece in place so you can partake in some activities that would be otherwise impossible with normal in ear headphones. The clamping system works very well and does not budge even when put to the test by running cycling etc. Another benefit of these headphones is that they are sweatproof, which is handy if you are keen on music and working out.Obviously the most important aspect to consider when buying headphones is sound qualiy. I am pleased to say that these hold up in this department also. The thing that lets down most headphones of this size is the output of the lower frequencies (bass). This is a generic problem because of the actual size of the magnets in the earpiece cannot move enough air to provide powerful bass. These particular headphones suffer no more, or no less than any other in this price bracket. The treble is crisp and clear and mids are good also/
I would recommend these headphones to anyone who likes to listen to music while on the move, as they sound good, stay put and look good.If your moble rings they can be a right pain to get off though.
Availiable from most high street retailers for aroung £15-20

I hate behind the ear hooks, they always make my son's rather large ears look huge, and make me think they make mine look bigger too. Sandra. x
