    A sleek but sturdy portable DVD player with up to 2 hours of battery life, good quality screen and speakers and mobile functionality. Recommended. Appearance The DVD player is very compact and attractive. It has a white outer shell and a black interior fascia. There is a flip up drawer on the bottom half where you put the DVDs in, which is opened by sliding the button on the front panel. It is smart and modern enough to be confident to use it on the train or in public generally. Price I paid £70.00 for the player a few months ago, but I strongly advise other to shop around as I understand it ... more

    Advantages Advantages High quality playback, doesn't just play DVDs, fairly cheap

    Bought this a while back and quite pleased with it. I would recommend shopping around if you want to buy this as there is a huge variety in price, I got it for around 50 pounds. It can play alot more that DVDs, something that I was quite impressed with. You can play DVD, DVD+/-R and DVD+/-RW, VCD, DivX and MPEG4 movies. It is also capable of playing music and Plays MP3-CD, CD and CD-RW. However, I tend to use it more as a DVD player as there are much better, and smaller, devices for music.     This is a great portable DVD player for the average user. I found it very easy to use (easy to get around menus). It is reasonably priced as well which is good news for us all! For those of you that prefer larger screens, this may not be the choice for you.

    Philips PET 716 is good for avarage user. IT is very easy to use. It has aLCD display. good quality. Its screen size is 7 inch - image aspect ratio 16:9.Built in stereo speaker 250mW. They are clear& loud.Its Av format -DivX, MP3, MPEG-4,JPEG. Support media-CD-R,CD-RW. DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD-R, DVD-RW. DVD Region-2 Height- 3.7 cm. width- 19.7cm. Depth-15.3 cm.
