This is my review on the PSS120 which has 512Mb of space to offer!

What you get (Accessories)

The ShoqBox comes with a black charger which is quite long about half a Meter long so very handy when there isn't a plug socket near, a useful stylish carry case which is quite hard and protects the ShoqBox well, Line in cable to use the ShoqBox as speakers for your PC, CD player or Mp3 player. It also comes with a radio cable which gives signal for the radio to work and a USB cable for music transfer. There is also a software CD which i will explain about later on.

Connectivity
The USB cable provided can be used to take music off or put music on the ShoqBox using the software provided. I must say I found the software very complicated, locating drives and correct folders for music. However there is a much easier program called "ShoqBox Buddy" which is a simple drag an drop system.

Features
The ShoqBox has a simple black and white display menu which works very much like an ipods. Music can be viewed by artist, genre, album or just all tracks. The ShoqBox offers an alarm system where your music or a buzzer can be used to wake you up. Also the alarm can be set to go off every day without resetting every night. Only downfall is you can choose an artist but not a specific track. It also offers an FM radio which can be tuned and channels can be saved.

Sound
The sound quality is mind blowing such a tiny box produces a huge noise which is perfect no loss in quality of the music. This done by using "Dynamic Boost Technology" , really makes a difference. At full volume bass really kicks in and you can see the speakers pulsating in and out!

Downfall of the ShoqBox PSS120 is the memory factor as it doesn't hold many tracks. There is a 1gb version but it doesn't offer a radio. Price wise i picked mine up for £15 in Howells of Cardiff part of House of Frasier group. Such a good price, i bought 4 =). Just to clear up the other reviews that say you have to use musicmatch, you don't with "Shoqbox Buddy".

phillips support online offers firmware downloads which can be updated using the USB cable.
