After initially opening the box, i noticed how big the unit itself actually is. It is about 5 inches long, but not very thick so it is actually quite light when you are holding and using it. The unit itself is sort of a blue/grey colour made of a shiny plastic. The razor head is quite large and about an inch in width so giving quite a large area coverage. The head is easily adjustable by using your thumb and forefinger as you grip the unit to turn an inner wheel which moves the head up and down. On either side is an arrow which points to a scale of 1-18. These numbers indicate the length of hair the trimmer will cut to in millimetres.

Shaving itself I found was quite difficult on shorter hair as you have to really push the trimmer onto you skin to achieve an even shave. I found this quite uncomfortable to do and it also leaves your skin a temporary blotchy red. On longer hair however it is a lot easier to use and the results look better.

Located on the body of the trimmer is a small compartment that stores cut hair. When you consider how much room hair takes up, the compartment is quite large. There is a gap from the shaver head directly into the compartment so the majority of the hair is collected. To empty it, you simply pull the fronted hinged door tip out the hair. You can easily rinse it under the tap as well without worrying about damaging the insides with the water.

Cleaning the head is easy enough as you can just run it under the tap, however a double ended brush is included in the box to easily and safely remove hairs that get stuck to the blades. However, it is quite small so I can see myself losing it soon enough.

Lastly, the small light indicator at the bottom indicates the battery status. When the battery is low, the battery light turns orange, and green when it has sufficient power left and it is on charge.

At time of writing it is on amazon.co.uk for about £35 which i think is quite good value
