If you have a TV and the remote breaks down, you realize just how many times you have to get up to change the channel. Luckily a new universal infrared remote can be bought at a reasonable price. This remote control from Philips met my requirements and the decision was quickly made.
Philips is a Dutch brand that originated in 1891 when Anton and Gerard Philips started the Philips & Co. company. Founded in Eindhoven. In the beginning they produced only light bulbs and soon they were the largest suppliers in Europe. The remote was sold in a blister on a cardboard background. There is a manual that was nicely folded behind the device. The batteries were not included and must be purchased separately. They are small AAA batteries.
It is a beautiful black rounded device with several buttons and keys in gray color. The length is not overly large and all buttons have a name so you know immediately what you can do. On top is an infrared light that you really do not see.You can immediately use the remote for the Philips TVs and VCRs / DVD players. You must first put in the charged batteries and do programming on the basis of 3 easy steps.
-1. Press TV or VCR / DVD to select the device. The indicator will blink twice to indicate that programming was successful.
Don't you know the code of your device, you can also program with an automatic search procedure. The remote is beautiful in design and not really expensive, but still good quality. You can easily drop the remote without damaging it. It is a simple device with clear buttons and a nicely rounded design. For the price you should not resist, because it only costs around 10 pounds. The manual is easy to follow. The buttons are very sensitive, so you don't have to press hard. A great remote.
