Philips SHM6105 Headset

...I bought one of these headsets when it was on offer in PCWorld. I got it for £14.99 and was not really bothered about the sound quality as I was only looking for a cheap heas set to play online games with. I took it home as played a few games with it, the sound quality through teamspeak was very good, and the people on the other end could hear me crystal clear. However, it was not until I was using my PC normally that I found how good the headset actually was, films sounded excellent with explosions being really bassy and music was amazing, the headsets would pick up details that my otherwise excellent Philips speakers would not get unless play really loud. ...I bought these speakers shortly after buying my computer because I was not satisfied with the sounds of the normal run of the mill speakers that come with my Dell System. There was not enough manipulation of sound and I am a little bit of a sound freak. I like to be able to change the sound to suit the music and with normal speakers, I could not do this. Not so with the Philips Speakers, as they come with a mini amplifier. Not only are these speakers good, they actually give me the sounds that I expect of quality music, and much more adjustment than I would get with other speakers. The nice thing about these speakers is that they are mini ones, and do not take up so much room on the desk, as I have enough clutter already.
