Philips SHP1900 Headphones

All-around good headphones.

Advantages: Able to hear sounds very clearly, closed headphones for maximum bass response.
Disadvantages: None.

I use the Philips SHP 2500 with my music producing. These are a good set of quality headphones. These headphones provie me with the best sounds in order for me to produce the better quality sound. It has a adjustable headband, a 3.5 mm Stereo plug, a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter included in the box, a 15-22000hz frequency range, 32 Ohm impedance, 100dB sensitivity, 500mW max. power input, a extra long 6m OFC cable, an in cord volume control and it\'s maximum power input is 500mW. With these headphones, i am able to hear the bass sounds clearly as it is made to close in upon your ears to deliever a powerful bass response. Also, i can hear the high eq sounds very clearly too. Review of Philips SHP2500 Headphones

Philips SHS 4701, comfortable earphones at last

Advantages: The fit & design. Comfy, brilliant sound & base, owning a pair!
Disadvantages: Not owning a pair!!!!! The price is high at £19.99, see below about price

I am sitting infront of my laptop with these wonderfull headphones attached to my ears & my iphone! I have been surfing the internet for ages & it just occurred to me how good these earphones are so I had to tell you all. I am very funny with earphones, I have very small earlobes & all the normal fit in the ear ones just fall straight out of my ear within seconds. I have tried all sorts, but none stay in my ear long enough to listen to any song, so I have long given up on finding a pair of suitable earphones that dont look like 2 satelite dishes have been attached to the side of my head via a massive headband that would make Alice in Wonderland cringe in shame! Philips SHE9700 earphones

Advantages: Nice and clean overall sound, very deep bass, crystal clear highs
Disadvantages: A little coloured in the upper bass and mid-high frequencies

. Recently I bought the Philips SHE9700 for only 9,95$ in a local store. The only reason I bought it was the low price. Believe me or not, these are my new reference for on-the-go audio! They are very good and clean sounding, with tight, deep bass response and crystal clear highs. The mid-highs are a little coloured and upper bass can be sometimes bloomy with acoustic jazz double bass, but this earphones are very easy to equalize and then they can output an almost perfect sound balance. Comfort is great too : after a few minutes, I forget I'm actually wearing them. To give you a comparison point, for home listening I have a Sennheiser HD280 Pro (200$), wich is very good, and the Philips SHE9700 are surprisingly similar in sound signature.
