Advantages: Good bass beat vents that allow air movement for better sound projection Disadvantages: Ear pads may wear off after 4 to 5 months
I bought this headphone in August from a shop selling electronics. Basically, this headphone provides extra bass to your ears and the ear cushions perfectly align with the area around your ears, which offer maximum comfort in long periods.
I found that the headphone's bass beat vents are actually made of Neodymium magnet, which enhances bass performance and greater sensitivity. The sound quality is average. When you play music and adjust it to a loud projection into your headphone, the person beside you can actually hear some sound.
Cable wise, the SHS390 comes with a single-sided cable. This means that the cable is only connected to just one side, to reduce the risk of entangling the cable, which previously happened to me when I was using other headphones.

Advantages: The fit & design. Comfy, brilliant sound & base, owning a pair! Disadvantages: Not owning a pair!!!!! The price is high at £19.99, see below about price
I am sitting infront of my laptop with these wonderfull headphones attached to my ears & my iphone! I have been surfing the internet for ages & it just occurred to me how good these earphones are so I had to tell you all.
I am very funny with earphones, I have very small earlobes & all the normal fit in the ear ones just fall straight out of my ear within seconds. I have tried all sorts, but none stay in my ear long enough to listen to any song, so I have long given up on finding a pair of suitable earphones that dont look like 2 satelite dishes have been attached to the side of my head via a massive headband that would make Alice in Wonderland cringe in shame!
Well I was browsing in my local shop & found these Philips earphones, there are about 3 sorts in the range, well there were in this shop, but these were specifically ...
Advantages: Comfortable, Lightweight, Great sound quality, Ruddy cheap Disadvantages: No Dolby or Sound Elimination
~~~~ Overview ~~~~
I?ve only had these Philips Headphones for around a month, but I?ve been more than impressed. I needed a pair to use with my MP3 player whilst in the gym, as the player only came with a little pair of ear-plug ones which kept falling out my ears (ruddy pain!)
I was first attracted to the headphones through the packaging, it was very quirky and the full headphones could be seen without the need to open it. The second thing I was impressed by was the price; I could have bought four sets of these headphones for the price of some Sony ones of similar spec!!
The SHS 390 headphones are designed to clip over the top of your ears, and are connected with a neck band which goes round the back of your head.
The headphones have a standard 3.5mm plug to use with all types of MP3 players, stereos, and laptops ...
