Philips 107E Super CRT!

Advantages: Clear vivid picture
Disadvantages: Static switching noises

Is your size a bit too small, fancy enlargement? Then check out this 17inch high performance monster!!! Tech Specs ---------------- 17" screen size 1280x1024 resolution at 60Hz refresh rate maximum display. The next opponent weighing in at 33.0 lbs, the Philips 107E is fat and heavyyy. Dot pitch 0.23Mm. Design ------ As CRTs are, they are big and heavy. They take up a lot of desk space and you don't often feel like moving them around to suit the position you're in and this one doesn't try to make an exception. The casing is pure white and fairly solid. Air vents are dotted by the hundred on the back for suitable cooling and does get quite warm. There is a swivel stand to turn left & right and up & down to a certain degree, the maximum upward tilt may still be too low for many. The brightness and contrast controls ...

Philips 109S40 - A good buy!

Advantages: Quality of build, price (!), clear screen for text + gfx, great user interface
Disadvantages: Slight curves at edges (but nothing distracting)

button has a small light in the middle showing green for on and working, and orange for suspend. Note that it is a true suspend to save power not a fake blank screen. The monitor detects the cable connections and will visually report the failure if the cable is unplugged,. Overall a very good monitor I recommend to all future buyers. Yes there is cheaper, but value for money cannot be beaten with the Philips 109S40. A monitor I am proud to take with me to gaming LANs. - Steve Allison ...

The Philips SoHo 150S3F monitor! WOW

Advantages: Crisp, Clean view and nice design!
Disadvantages: Quite a small screen size!

Now this is a great TFT monitor, and its the first TFT that I have ever had. I have seen a few about, and I have to say that i like this one the best, hence why I purchased it, it cost me about £170 earlier this year. At my collage they have a few different types of monitor, unbranded ones, Samsung ones and there is one more that I can?t quite put a name to but they are nothing compared to this one! It produces a very high quality picture and has a nice auto adjust function that automatically choose the correct size / resolution so suit, of course it can be manually adjusted as well using the buttons on the monitor. All of the monitors casing and stand is made of plastic but it is all very neat and clean, there are no random bulges pokeing here and there and there aren?t any speakers, buy who wants speakers on a monitor, they are ...
