My husband is very fussy when it comes to shaving and he likes to have his own razor that I don't use. He used to spend a lot of money on purchasing the Gillette Fusion Power 4 pack priced at 7.99GBP. After finding out that I was using his razor he decided to buy the Rechargeable body shave system Phillips TT2021 this is not to be confused with the Phillips TT2020 which is similar, but not the one I am reviewing. So my husband decided to buy this razor because he knew that I wouldn't use it because I cannot use electric razor's like this they make me come out in a rash and do not work on my skin.

I asked my husband to review this razor and to give me his opinions of how effective the razor is. The following is the review that I have rewritten in my own words for the purposes of Ciao.

It only takes up to 8 hours for up to 50 minutes of cordless action. You also get a charge stand and hanging cord with your purchase. A manufacturer's guarantee is also included with the razor. I like the fact that the guarantee is for 2 years rather than 1 year which is what you get with a lot of products.

It is easy to hold which makes it give a better, easier shave. You can even get to hard to reach areas because of the way this razor is designed. What is also great is that with some razor's you can get a lot of cuts and nicks, but this razor prevents that because of the hypo-allergenic foil. The other great thing is that the blades are lubricated for life this means that you don't need to worry about lubricating them as you would have to with other razor's. You also get self sharpening blades so they don't need oiling.

Is It Cost Effective?

Using an electric razor saves you not only money, but water too. If you use blades then you have to rinse them every time between strokes. Not only is there the water and blades, but there is also the cost of the shaving cream. I think the price is excellent whilst it is not too cheap it is also not too expensive. In my opinion it is very cost effective.

The Phillips TT 2021 Body-groom offers comfort and superior performance. If you do decide to purchase one of these razor's then you can expect to save significant amounts of money. The accuracy this razor gives is fantastic especially on sideburns, goatees and under the nose. However it also gives a superior shave all over the body.

It is simple to use and practical. Depending on how you want to look the 3 cutting combs let you choose different lengths. When you first try the body-groom you might find that you spend a little longer than usual trying it out, but this should reduce once you get used to it. The body-groom will not replace hair clippers, but it works effectively on beards.
