"philips satinelle epilator!"

what is it like?
the epilator looks just like an electric razor. that is until you remove the cover.
there you will find a row of metal discs. these discs are like giant tweezers, there are several in a row which rotate and grab your hairs which are then pulled out by the roots. it is designed to pull out hairs as short as 0.5mm. When the hair does grow back it is much softer and there should be no stubble.

is it painful?
You get used to it on your legs and it gets less painful the more you do it.

my experience of the epilator.

A friend of mine bought an epilator- to me it looked very painful and as you would i said ' oh i would never use that' but now i couldn't live without it! I would never go back to shaving! with the epilator you only need to use it every two weeks depending on how fast your hair grows back. Eventually after useing it for months, your hair gets thinner and you dont need to use it as often. theres no need to shave yor legs a few times a week and also the hairs on your legs dont come back spiky like they do when shaving! the only thing i didnt like about it at first is that it hurts!! now that ive got used to it it doesnt feel painful. another slight disadvantage is that you may get a small red rash from where the hairs have been pulled out by the roots this however dissapears within a few hours. i also know of a few people who use it on their bikini line and this proves no problem! its definitley worth a try! I bought it at argos for around £40 however they can be found in most department stores and electrical beauty places. And prices vary wherever you go. the epilator is a nice size and easy to hold. it has got two speed settings- i prefer the slower setting as it pulls more hairs out at once. it is a nice light pink colour with a darker pink button which turns it on, then if pressed up again it goes faster. there are little rubbery spikes on the epilator this is to keep the pain to the minimum. the lead to the epilator from the plug is quite long so you dont need to worry about where you do it.
