I was stumped! Its a Monday morning yet again ,another weekend of gigging had taken place and a residue of the thick stage makeup I had wore the last three nights had left its mark firmly on my pillow! I slowly stumbled into the bathroom looked in the mirror!!! And AARRRRRRGGGHHHHHHH!!!! I look like something from the Rocky horror picture show with big black rings of mascara and eyeliner halfway smudged down my cheeks and under my eyes! "How could this be?" I thought. I mean I spent a good five minutes washing my face last night before I hit the sack and still makeup was all over the place!!!! EVERYWHERE!! This has to be a nightmare! So why am I telling you all this! Well I am sure there are plenty of you girlies out there who want to be makeup free in seconds when you come in late at night either from a night at work or a big night out on the town and a few to many cocktails! Well I am sure just like me you have had these mornings! Where although you washed your face the reminants of last night makeup STILL hangs on your face the morning after! Or the odd time you simply couldnt be bothered to take your makeup off because it took too long, so you just fall into bed! Then the next morning, WHAT A MESS! ! I mean Cleanser, eye makeup remover, toner, moisturiser!!

I was introduced to Purity by Philosophy whilst browsing around Space NK! After reading the back label I thought YAY! I have found my answer to my prayers at last! Then came the next shock.... I looked on the bottam at the price tag........£17.00 for 8oz. I gritted my teeth together and paid for this little bottle of tricks and rushed off to my gig! Would this potion be the end of my troubled mornings? That night after giging I came in ,,,,,, face caked with stage makeup! Then following the instructions on the bottle I put a small amount onto my fingertips and massaged gently onto my face. Now I must admit I have to be sooooooo careful when putting anything around my eyes as they are really sensative so I was a little cautious when rubbing gently round my eye area! Then it says on the bottle to add a spot of water to it ..... so I did so. This is a really strange product because it doesnt foam up or give you really any clue that it is working! It also says on the bottle that cleansing is important so take your time,,,, so I spend an extra couple of minutes more massaging this crazy white lotion around my face. To finish it advises to splash your face with warm water to rinse off... this I did, OK... drum roll time to look in the mirror!!!!! Oh my gosh!!!! I had perfectly clean skin!!! My skin looked radiant , it didnt feel tight or sore ot look red it just looked and felt really clean and fresh! I then applied my normal moisturiser and it went straight into my skin instead of hanging on my face like it normally does! I was really impressed! Now its two weeks on ......... and I have been "road testing" this product! Amazed by the first time I used this I kept on going for it..... now what I noticed happend was about 2 to 3 days after I started using purity I broke out in a few spots! This did at first put me off it again! I was thinking to myself oh no here we go again! It doesnt suit my skin! But I continued to use it never the less! Now 2 weeks on my skin is lookin more radiant and clean and clearer than ever before! The spots cleared up quickly ! I believe that what this product had done was really deeply cleaned my skin and brought all the dirt that was burried deep down to the surface causing spots but this quickly as I say settled down!
So where do I get this product from?
You can buy it from Space NK. I know that for a fact as I got mine from there! There are also some website online just do a search! The prices to tend to be still the same though! The other place I looked was EBAY! You will find some Purity on there... All I will say is check the size of the item you are bidding on there! As Purity is avaliable in 2oz, 4oz or the size I have which is 8oz which normally retails at £17.00.

Does the company who make this only make this cleanser?
I believe this is the only cleanser they make! But they make some really nice other bits and pieces of skincare such as face scrub, moisturiser, eyecream! Its worth a good browse!
Who would you personally recommend it for?
Well I think all age groups would be happy with this product as it is very gentle on the skin and cleanses skin deep down ! Its a great product for people like me who want something to take all their makeup off quickly and effectively!
Was it ok when you used it around your eye area?
I found this to be ok! And it removed my eye makeup fine! I dont use waterproof makeup though, so you would personally have to see how you went on with that! But I have had no problems with using it around the eye area! But remember everyone is different so becareful when you first use it see how you personally get on!
So what my overall opinion?
As you most likely have guessed ! I love this! I think although its pricey if you use only the right amount each application the 8oz bottle should last a while! It cleanses your skin and tones beautifully! It leaves you feeling refreshed! Great buy! Great skincare! Love it!!! Philosophy Purity

Advantages: Cleanses and refreshes. Unisex, Creamy but not greasy. Great makeup remover. Disadvantages: NONE. seems to work for different skin types = advantage ;0)
I buy the largest bottle of this stuff I can find and use it everyday - morning and night. A small amount goes a long way, so the bottle lasts pretty long, and you really get your money's worth. Purity has a creamy texture that smooths and lathers on skin nicely. It feels quite luxurious while getting your face super clean without drying out your skin. I can get all of my makeup off with this cleanser without having to scrub my face or use separate ... ...smooth, clean, and refreshed. On days that I don't wear makeup, it still has the same results -- washes away the grime of the day and leaves my face feeling smooth, clean, and refreshed. In the morning, it prepares my face for my moisturizer/spf and makeup if I choose to wear any.
