The second instalment of Phoenix Wright’s adventures, “Justice For All”, takes place roughly a year after where the first game left off. Phoenix is still working at his law firm with his assistant Maya Fey, the sister of his former boss, Mia, and still managing to scrape those Not Guilty verdicts by the skin of his teeth. As the player you guide Phoenix through the game with a simple point and click method using the DS touch screen and stylus. The ... ...the characters. Throughout the game Phoenix will work on four different murder cases, each of which involving a somewhat elaborate method of killing the victim. As Phoenix, you gather information and evidence to then later use in court when defending your client. Advantages: enjoyable storylines, funny with varied characters Disadvantages: linear point and click, difficult from logic making no sense at times
...game with no knowledge of Phoenix Wright other than friends pointing at me saying objection... them guys are so cool. Anyway I may not have played the first but I enjoyed this game. I will say that even too my innocent eyes this game feels a little rushed and that is because it just is. The game became popular and so they rushed this out to cash in I believe. This however doesn't take away from the game what is still an enjoyable courtroom drama.
... ...whenever so enjoy that fact. Phoenix himself appears quite the pathetic hero and while he could annoy people, he is endearing. I found the game linear but you are playing out the story after all. Plenty of chatting but lots of humour in there too keep you entertained. It is also worth stressing this is a game. The court has its own laws, please don't try and take this game seriously. It turns out my mate bought it expecting an interesting courtroom ...
