on headsets Advantages: comfy all day wear Disadvantages: loud feedback ...avoid the feedbacks. On the upside it supports all Plantronics amplifiers and USB-to-headset adapters so i guess i just have to get one. It is also comfortable to wear for long hours. GN Netcom Headset: Worth the money? Advantages: Great look and feel to the headset, remarkable sound quality Disadvantages: Rather pricey and poor battery life THis GN Netcom headset, is a beautiful piece of machinery. It has a stuning design and prefectly easy to use. I simply opened the box andhardlyhad to use the instruction manual. I connceted it up and i was off! the sound quality is phenomenal, far better than any headsets that phone companies supply you with... i could my the person crystal clear, and i felt that he was right there with me. the only downside, is that the battery life, i felt was ... ...i felt i had to keep on charging it every 10 or so hours, which i felt was rather ridiculous. however, i put up with it becuase i liked the design and how easy it was to use. Furthermore, the dual connection the comes with this headset is remarkable and the technology that goes into this headset is so robust! One major downside to this product, is that the price was ridiculous. A study in contrasts... Advantages: Great battery life. Very customizable. Disadvantages: Mute function. Bad noise cancelling. When this headset arivved I was excited. I was really looking forward to being able to walk around while I talk to my clients. There are a number of positive and a few negative qualitys. First is the wireless design. This couldn't be better. I love the range and the power the antenna has. The major wireless unit before this one had a remote and carrying it around was a major hassle. Second is the battery life. The unit takes a very long time to charge fully. I use it for three hours and it takes over an hour to recharge. The unit has only one way to mute, this is probably the most annoying aspect of the design. A small button one the bottom of one side of the unit is pushed to mute. Plantronics C65 Review Advantages: 3 different ear loop sizes, sturdy desktop charger Disadvantages: Not very easy to change between different bases Using this headset means that it is possible for me to do other things such as the ironing while talking on the phone, so saves me a lot of time. The audio quality is fine, and as far as I know, the microphone quality is just as good as usign a handset. This comes with three different sizes of loop to go over your ear, so almonst everyone should be able to wear it. There is also a band that goes over your head if you do not want the headset hanging ... ...wear it all day. It is fairly easy to answer calls with, but the only substantial problem that I have found so far is that it is quite difficult to swap between different bases, as I have 2 phone lines in my house.
