A study in contrasts... Advantages: Great battery life. Very customizable. Disadvantages: Mute function. Bad noise cancelling. When this headset arivved I was excited. I was really looking forward to being able to walk around while I talk to my clients. There are a number of positive and a few negative qualitys. First is the wireless design. This couldn't be better. I love the range and the power the antenna has. The major wireless unit before this one had a remote and carrying it around was a major hassle. Second is the battery life. The unit takes a very long time to charge fully. I use it for three hours and it takes over an hour to recharge. The Curse of BT1571 Advantages: OK if you don't mind BT conning you out of your hard earned cash. Disadvantages: Totally inflexible, you have no control over its operation, you cant turn it off. ...have to call them back.. BT wins both ways!! If you want it removed you have to contact BT and ask them, but you didn't ask for it in the first place! Its so much better if the caller gets an engaged tone instead of being robbed yet again by BT's unscrupulous hidden con of providing you with this 'FREE' service.
