Free digital prints!

Advantages: Free!
Disadvantages: Only 40 :(

Boots photo processing is a digital print service that has a familiar name behind it, its not the cheapest digital processor online but its extremely reliable and has many useful features that help to get the best quality possible with as little trouble as possible. I don't use their service unless there is a deal on (I am a student and I am tight) at the moment they have a great deal… read on! I put this on here as I have used this service twice ...
...moment they offer 40 digital print posted to your address for a 1.50 delivery charge (and free photos :p). Basically sign up an account pick 40 pictures you want a copy of, upload them and then pay 1.50! That's it, wait 7 days and they will be with you :D posted straight to your door in a secure envelope. I like this service as you don't need to leave your house, you can edit your pictures online on their site or before you upload them AND you ...

Jessops online photo printing service

Advantages: Great print quality
Disadvantages: none

...Farnham (www.mrscsan.co.uk), in my opinion Jessops were too expensive for part and Mr Scan offer a very much higher scanning resolution at a much lower price. I then simply uploaded my digital images to jessops and the photos were returned within 2 days. Photos came back very clear and bright colours, i would not hesitate in using both Jessops and Mr Scan in the future, both offer greta value for money and very high service levels. The larger A3 ...

Pixi Photo - somewhat disappointed

Advantages: Specialise in Family Photographs, Based in larger stores eg Mothercare
Disadvantages: Free Photo not of the best quality, skill questionable, not cheap!

Pixi Photo are a professional photography company specialising in children and family photographs. The settings are relaxed but fun and children are encouraged to play so that the photographer is able to capture the perfect natural picture. Pixi Photo offer many different offers/VIP specials to suit the type of photo shoot you want. They are popular and well distributed, I found the branch I used in my local Mothercare store. First and formost I ...
...and decorate my living room wall today. I found the staff in the branch I visited to be knowledgable, helpful and friendly. I purchased a VIP card which enabled me to have three separate sittings with a free Large photograph each time and no obligation to purchase any other photos. I believe this VIP card cost me about £20-25. Good Value in my opinion at the time. On the day of the sitting my children were pleasent but not as forthcoming with smiles ...

Piss Poor (ie No) Training shows in the end

Advantages: Low price - 1 hour service
Disadvantages: Piss Poor quality - totally untrained staff

I have used Tesco film processing services for a number of months now and sadly it is only now beginning to dawn on me that the quality of theservice is poor. I have noted that the scans they make are rather low in resolution at around 300dpi at 6" x 4". 10" x 8" would be better option as the majority of people still using film I would say are semi-professionals. The colour is a bit washed out often and occasionally I get nasty scratches on negs. ...
...were scanning at he replied "normal resolution". If I had been in a better mood I would have fallen over on the floor laughing but sadly I was in grmpy old man mode and had to tell him that that was a completley ridiculous answer. To make matters worse his thick old lady of an assistant pipes up - "Oh I thought it was whatever resolution you set your camera at!" Words fail to describe the look I gave her. I recently received back a CD and set of ...

Photos in a Box

Advantages: See Review
Disadvantages: None

...currently running this offer are Photobox and they offer 40 free prints and you only have to pay £1.99 postage. If you refer a friend and they take up the offer of 40 free prints you get 50 free prints as well meaning you can have loads of prints for free! To sign up with Photobox is easy; it’s just a case of entering the usual data like name and email address. To upload photos is a doddle too because the Photobox website does most of the work for ...
...I find the whole Photobox website easy to use. It is quite an attractive website too and it’s not too cluttered as a lot of sites seem to be these days. The search function works well and it is always easy to find exactly what you are looking for. Prices for prints start from 10p for any size print form the following choices: 6”x4”, 6”x4½” and 5”x3¾“. The more you buy the cheaper they get: go to http://www.photobox.co.uk/shop/prints/standard-prints ...
