We used this excellent package to produce our wedding album. It consists of amazing features which are very simple to use. I cannot comment on the library features but understand that it can provide a system for organising your photos. I can only comment on the photo editor part of the package.

I have been very impressed by how easy and intuitive this program is, compared with other photo editing packages.
I teach beginners how to use computers and have been searching for a photo editing program that is easy to use. This fits the bill perfectly, giving excellent results with just a few mouse clicks.
The Common Tasks bar down the left hand side of the screen makes it easy to change the exposure, lighting, size of picture etc. also a really neat tool called Smart Erase which removes unwanted blemishes. Drag around the object you want to remove, not too closely because you must enclose a piece of the background that you want to use as a fill in, eg to remove a bird in the sky, make sure your selection includes a bit of sky all around the bird, then click Fill In and the bird disappears, replaced by a clone of the sky ...

Copying selected objects from one photo to another
I believe that Microsoft Digital ImageSuite is one of the best software packages for combining two photos together. Once you have selected part of a photo, you merely have to click on copy, then click on paste on the next photo and the selected object is automatically on its own layer. It is very easy to resize the photo by clicking on a corner handle and dragging inwards. You can drag it where ever you wish to position it and can rotate it too.
