And it stays wet a while. so this paper has a really nifty extra edge which supposedly tears off when the pic is dry, but allows you to pick up the photo and put it somewhere safe whilst wet. Hewlett-Packard Advanced Soft Gloss Photo Paper

Advantages: Good finish to the image
Disadvantages: None I can think of.

It's not commonly known, but some full gloss papers can stick to the glass of a photo frame if your chosen print is placed in such a thing. If you the decide to change the frame, you can damage the ink layer of the image, renderinging the whole thing useless. I normally use a matt paper, as I like the overall effect of matt, and the sticking to the glass effect is less of a problem. However, Hewlett Packard's soft gloss paper gives a third option. ...
...but is a little more chilled about the whole thing. A bit like semi-gloss paints for wood work. To be honest HP's products are pretty good, so best advice on this product is this; if you like the halfway house between matt and gloss, it's well worth buying.
