...mid July each year called Pigassu nicknamed the black pig and comes from France.
I have found it great with very many meals. It is very full bodied and has a very smooth sweet taste on the palette and the nicest of very many other french red table wines I have tried over the years.
As far as comparisons against other French red table wines that I have tried over the years is it's unique quality. It is totally naturally ... ...it after, like next years Pigassu will be 2003 vintage.
One of the main things that makes Pigassu so special is that it is one of the very rare red wines that is not mass produced and it is pure so when it comes in each year stocks go fast - therefore top quality and much better tasting, no unpleasant aftertaste or hangovers with it.
It comes from grapes in the central vinyards of southern France.
UPDATED FURTHER!!!!!! I buy a lot of my wines direct from Laithwaites wine company based at New Aquitaine House, Exeter Way, Reading and they are great.

As far as comparisons against other French red table wines that I have tried over the years is it's unique quality. It is totally naturally produced from the best red french grapes, well matured 2002 vintage or whichever year you buy it after, like next years Pigassu will be 2003 vintage.

Pigassu is also great with cheese and as an aperitif.
Pigassu should always be served at room temperature!
At 12.5% volume 1 125ml glass is equal to 1.5 units of alcohol.
Each year when Pigassu comes in stock it has a drinking shelf life of 2 years so next years will keep to drink before end of 2006!
It is unique as it comes in a plump port style bottle with a narrow neck and has a distinct label on saying Pigassu. It is also a cork top like other wines. It is available each year from Laithwaites from mid June to mid July to buy in bulk in the following at this years prices:
The above wine prices are also typical of many other wines bought in bulk.
