...If you are looking for a TV tuner, I have to say, never think of any Pinnacle products. I bought my PCTV Rave, one year ago. At the beginning, everything seems to be fine. But after I install some new software, e.g. Nero 6, and Windows Update, especially the Windows XP Service Pack 2, I have got lots of incompatible problems with the program come with this Card called Pinnacle Vision. So I tried to find some solution on the company’s website. Until then, I found they have stopped to publish new update for its software and left all its users in its forum to try to exchange their solution themselves. Advantages: Simple and easy to setup. Disadvantages: No DVD Input option
...Spent a while looking for a video input graphics card until i came across this little number. Graphics cards were coming in around the £100 mark and this was just not practical.

I installed the card in my PC (normal PCI connection) and connected a normal portable indoor aerial to the card and booted up. The sotware took a while (15 mins) to fully install but it was all self explanatory and I was soon up and running. The job was to connect the audio lead from the TC tuner to my sound card. Luckily I had a spare input but check you have before you purchase.
The first time you run the Pinnacle software the card scans for channels (takes about 3 mins) and after that you are ready to go. The interface is simple and ressembles the controls on an old non remote controlled TV. Volume and channel buttons on the control...
