Pinnacle Studio AV/DV version 9

Advantages: Simple easy to use software with some advanced features
Disadvantages: Installation problems, bugs in software and need to upgrade

...Pinnacle 9 is nigh on Dickensian, it left me thinking that ?it was the best of software it was the worst of software?, how can one ?umble product leave you ripping your hair out as well as oddly satisfied, in fact it practically left me asking for more. The software is actually very good; especially for the price in fact it makes the editing process remarkably simple, transitions, multi-level sound and image editors. But the package could drive anybody to the brink of insanity. The software is quite large and uses up a huge amount of a computers resources, so shutting everything down (as they themselves recommend) is a very good idea, however if like me you?ve got a computer approaching it?s fifth birthday and the grim reaper seems to hover over it ready to strike at any moment, Pinnacle 9 spells trouble. Advantages: worth is price, good results to the end movies
Disadvantages: Hard to install and to operarate.

...I bought the Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard, Installed it my computer, had allot of problem with compatibility and had to run forth and backwards to dealer until it was fixed. After that inconvenience and when it worked, it was pretty complicated and not very user friendly, I'm considered a good computer wizard and it took me some time to understand how to operate it. But in the end when I learned, it gave very good results, it more or less worth is price and is recommended, but take your time to learn deeply first the user manual and all other relevant documents. Otherwise you will suffer the same hell I had in my first day's after purchasing the Pinnacle Studio MovieBoard, but as I said it's Satisfactory product and the end Movies are in very high results.... Advantages: A professional package a home PC prices.
Disadvantages: Could be bugged!!! Not used enough to be 100%

...Pinnacle has been producing one of the best video editing packages for a while now. Definately one of the best I've come across, and the latest Version 9 is a good addition. Giving anyone the ability to edit their own movies and burn them to CD or DVD, or even put them back onto video tape, if you prefer that old fashioned approach. Very much a packaged designed for the home user, Pinnacle is relatively easy to get to grips with, and has not changed very much from the previous releases. In fact this version is probably easier to use once you get used to it, which takes no time at all. If you are familiar with previous versions, or familiar with other editing packages, then this will be a breeze to you. The software does what most editing packages do, and some!
