i have this burner it is a good quality burner that supports a good range of blank media i use datawrite grey and bulpaq and have never wasted a disc burning a dvd movie at 8x only takes about 10 mins which is good when you are burning 4.7gigabyte . it is a great way to back up all of your important data to dvd in case of a system failure with a higher capacity than cdr media. it is very easy to install as with any over optical drive just 4 small screws then connect power connector and ide lead and away you go .using windows xp i did not need to do anything else just pop in a blank dvd and start burning before purchasing this burner i bought a cheaper one but it did not like alot of the blank media that i had so i returned it and got this one. excellent all in one burner.
only dissapointment was that it did not come with a choice of different colour front bezels as some supplyers have started to include where to buy diskingcomputers £47.69
