...GOT PIONEER DV-350-S FROM A WEB SITE ON THE 22 OCTOBER 2002 WENT WRONG IN MARCH OF 2003 STILL UNDER WARRANTY RANG WEB SITE 4 TIMES ANS SENT EMAILS THAY SAY I HAVE TO SEND DVD PLAYER TO A SERVICE CENTER IN THE UP AS I AM DISABLED I FIND THIS VERY HARD TO DO WEB SITE SAY IT'S NOT UP TO THEM TO FIX IT. WHAT CAN I DO . AFTER SAILS IS OF NO HELP .HAVE STILL GOT DVD PLAYER NOT WORKING . LENS DIRTY OR WHAT?.WHAT CAN I SAY MACHINE WAS WORKING GREAT THEN JUST WENT WRONG. I PHONED PIONEER SERVICE CENTER TO FIND OUT WHAT TO DO THAY WERNOT TO HELPFUL .THAY SAY IT WILL BE ABOUT £120.00 TO FIX. BUT ITS ONLY 5 MONTHS OLD IT HAS NOT BEEN MISSUSED OR ANTHY THING LIKE THAT. Disadvantages: Small remote buttons!

...The Pioneer dv-626D is really one of the cream of the crop! Having searched around for about half a year for a decent dvd player for the price, I finally chose this one! The ups simply outweighed the downs! The picture quality was so crisp! The sound quality is good (potentially excellent), but would be better if I had a decent audio system, so that's really down to me and not the player! This player simply churned effortlessly through anything I threw at it! Since a lot of dvd players on the market have problems reading the Matrix dvd, this player had absolutely no problem what so ever! The buttons on the remote control might be a little small, but not really a problem unless you have fingers the size of jumbo sausages! The screen saver that is used looks like they bought it for 99p. The price I bought it at was also a bargin... Read review

...I decided to buy this DVD player after upgrading to a HD TV and i needed some sort of player which has component output. Having previously owned a Pioneer DV350, that what fantastic, i decided to stick with Pioneer and get their player with the component outputs on the back. This therefore means that the player has progressive scan through component in PAL (and in NTSC) which means you can view DVDs through either display settings at maximum quality. For a start this player is very attractive and is solidly built and the design of it fits in well with surrounding products. The picture quality through component is highly impressive, there is no blurring or fussiness in quick moving images in DVDs such as action movies and the pictures produced are extremely sharp and very strong in colour.
