This DVD player came in a home thater in a box, quickly however is was delegated downward to the spare room and then the bedroom dvd player.
Really it is your standard dvd player, DivX playback dolby output for the sound. The ability to play burnt dvds on the - formats and it is progressive scan.
It has the normal component, s-video and analog outputs and really there isn't much more to say on it.
It does give off a good picture and it's layer jump isn't very noticeable when watching a movie but it doesn't really offer anything special. You get the great perforance and value of Pioneer with no bells and whistles but if you are just looking for a good reliable dvd player this is for you.
