This plasma is about as good as it gets with regards to having the ultimate homecinema experience in your living room.

It comes with 3 HDMI inputs / 1 component and 2 scarts - so pretty much everything is catered for.

What immediately hits you about the Pioneer is how realistic the colour pallete is - blacks are very black - nothing quite comes close.

Both Standard def (freeview ) and HD are well represented, with the latter simply mind blowing on this set.

Watch something moody like Sweeney Todd - and the screen just oozes quality - images almost look 3 dimensional.

The sound output is equally impressive on the undermount speaker -I still prefer outputting via a 5.1 amp.

The screen is big with a capital B! - so make sure your lounge viewing area is sufficiently large, so not to overwhelm the room.

On the neagtives - well it's expensive, but if you want the best - then in my opinion it's money well spent.
