The design on the TV is great. The side speakers are very well integrated with the TV and don't stand out either (they are removable as well if you plan to use a surround sound speaker system). The picture is outstanding and I felt it really was head-and-shoulders above the other TVs I was considering (Sharp Aquos, Sony Plasmas, Philips, Hitachi and Panasonic). I went to a several retailers and looked at the large Plasma tvs with the same High Definition signal and the Poineer was the best there. As i said before the picture quality is the best i have experienced and this TV delivers a stunning picture which sharp contrast and no pixelization and the sound quality is also great with everything sounding like it has just happened beside you and with Pioneer's new PDP-505HD Advanced PureCinema, material on DVD, videotape, and even regular TV will match the quality you'd see in a theater. The other great thing is the sleek design which just makes it gorgeous to look at. It is expensive to buy with prices ranging from £3,000 - £4,000 but it is worth it for the quality.
