Advantages Lots of fighting and extras

Disadvantages Was rushed and this shows in places

This game had potential, but unfortunately it was clearly rushed. However it still remains a good and worthy game.
First off its pretty confusing plot wise as it is a mixture of the 2nd and 3rd movies. But this isnt a very importanct factor. There are quite a few levels (12 i think) and each one is different and interesting. My favorite levels are when you are at port and on the land, here there is more to explore and it is generally more interesting in my opinion. The levels are failry easy except the last ( Maelstrom) which is hard and almost completely down to luck ( weather a tornado hits you or not) .
Throughout the game you play as jack, elizabeth, will and barbosa. As the game progresses you learn more combo attacks. There is a lot of fighting in this game, which is fun but can get a bit tedious and sometimes frustrating. In the end you will probably just ens up swishing your remote madly until all the enemies are dead.
Another good feature is that different enemies have different health and ways of attacking. You can fight with your sword or use the extra weapons you may pick up. They are a gun, throwing knives and a bomb. This was a good idea, but again could have been extended. Your enemies may alos have and use these extra weapons. You can also use your nunchuck to grab enemies making it easier to hit them, this also looks cool. When duelling a specific character look for the c symbol to show and guess what , you can use hwats around you to hurt the enemy. This is a great idea and looks cool. During gameplay it may change to a jackanism. Here you must follow specific instructions to move on. This is really effective and looks good, however sometimes it is unresponsive to your movement and it can get annoying.A silly feature is how you gain life. You pick up a roast chickens that you can use to gain back life.

There are also sub missions within missions to keep you entertained. This is good as even when you finish the game you may still have these sub missions to complete. They include Crab Pendants, Pirate Dice, Destroy Targets, and the Gold Idol, there are also sub-missions where you help fellow pirates. To do these simply talk to people with exclamation marks over their heads. By far the most enjoyable mini-games are the pirate dice and card games. The card game is my favorite which is just poker, by completeing jackinisms you can collect cards that will help you play the card game. they let you see other players cards etc.

The graphics on this game are really good in some areas but simply terrible elsewhere. For example the sea graphics are abismal but the characters look really good( even if they dont look entirely like the characters from the movie). The direction arrow gets annoying, not having it would be much better, leaving you to explore more. The screenshots are good the first time you watch them but you cnat skip them and that gets really really annoying , especially if you stop playing before a level and when you play again you have to watch it all over again.
