I have a strong preference to any natural product over brands you would usually find in the supermarkets, and after hearing so many good things about rock crystal deodrants I decided to try them myself.
My first experience of Pitrok was the solid crystal form. I had only used the solid version about twice before I accidently dropped it, a bit chipped off the smooth top and I was left with a very sharp jagged edge - not something you then want to rub against your 'pits. I tried soaking it to smooth the edge down but with no luck, I've heard alot of people had this problem, so instead of trying it again I bought the spray.
How it looks ----------------
It comes in a clear plastic bottle, with a silver plastic lid. The labels are clear, with straight forward designs - a black diamond shape with the pitrok logo and white writing (rather difficult to read on a clear label, on a clear bottle, containing a clear-ish product!). I found it a bit disappointing that the labels don't state anything about the packaging - there're no recycle symbols anywhere, one can only assume this means you cannot recycle the packaging, which is a disappointment as I imagine the majority of their customers have environmental concerns.
Where to find it ---------------------
I have seen this being sold in several health food shops, but I don't think it is widely available in supermarkets. You can also buy a scented version perfumed with essential oils. It's quite pricey - I bought mine for £3.95 for 100ml, I'm sure the price may vary slightly from place to place.

My experience -------------------
The spray creates a fine mist, which I was quite pleased with as normally a spray of this kind (non-aerosol) seems to 'squirt'. However fine the mist is this does make your underarms wet and this takes a while to dry (In my experience longer than "about a minute"). If you put any close fitting clothes on before it's dried you tend to get 'stuck' to the clothing OR the deodorant just doesn't dry. When it does dry you are left with silky smooth skin, thanks to the conditioning ingredients, and there is a pleasent, subtle scent. Being a clear solution this doesn't stain your skin, or your clothing. Now I would like you to bare in mind that deodorant will react differently to everyone, and you can only trial and error to see what works for you. This deodorant however did not work for me, which I'm sad about as in solid form rock crystals can last YEARS (if not dropped) - saving alot of money. It neutrolised odours on contact, but it took far too long to dry, and it didn't protect atall.
While it didn't work for me I hope it works for you if you try it as it's a great, safe alternative to chemical deodorants.
