...I purchased this camera from Pixmania.com in May 2004. The flash stopped working in November 2004 and I am still waiting for Pentax (and Pixmania) to repair and return my camera. Two months of waiting and chasing and I have missed photos of a trip to Australia, NZ and Christmas. I have no idea whether my camera will be returned in the next two months either as I have been unable to get any commitments from Pixmania or Pentax as to when it will be returned! The Optio S4 is a small and stylish camera, although the picture quality is nothing amazing and the repair time are completely unacceptable given that the original delivery time was only 2 days! Stick with a manufacturer that considers after-sale service a priority!... Read review

...I bought my Canon Powershot 75 from Pixmania. I did one of their bundle deals, which turned out ot be very cheap and customized to what you need. The flash card bundle was very cheap. I took my camera on holiday with me within one week of my purchase and found I could use it so easily. Of course , I read the manual first. When you buy from Pixmania the manual is in French! Don't be put off it is easy to find a sight on the internet that you can print an English version. The camera gives instant delight as the photo's produced are of a very high quality, even for a beginner! It is also a bonus having small AA batteries as these are not expensive, and can be bought anywhere, although they only last 20 minutes, good for an emergency. ...Bought this for my girlfriends birthday last year to stop here using disposable cameras. She absolutely loves it. Purchased from Pixmania whose service was very good. The controls are easy to use, the little pictures on the control wheel are pretty self explanitory. It also boots up pretty quickly which can't be said for some other cameras. The picture quality is outstanding, even taking pictures of the sun come out crystal clear. Its also a lot smaller than the picture makes it look. I think because its quite square in the picure it looks deceptively large but it is infact very small and compact. The only downside is the amount of battery power it takes up. I would suggest investing in some decent rechargeable batteries to save some money.... Read review
